Hoover Dam
Hoover Dam is one of the Bureau of Reclamation's multipurpose projects on the Colorado River. Hoover Dam's authorized purposes are: "flood control; improvement of navigation and regulation of the Colorado River; storage and delivery of Colorado River waters for reclamation of public lands and other beneficial uses exclusively within the United States; and hydroelectric power production."

Wet' n Wild - Water Park
Enjoy more than a dozen thrilling water rides, including the Royal Flush, the Black Hole, Der Stuka water chute, and the more sedate Lazy River. Open daily through Sept. 10, then weekends only until Oct. 1.

White Tiger Habitat: Mirage Hotel

If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, then the Big Shot is one of the best choices in town. Located over 1,000 feet above the ground, this thrill ride launches you 16 stories straight up the outside of the tower’s spire.

Bellagio Fountains: Bellagio Hotel 
Shooting up to 250 feet in the air, the waters perform to songs by such greats as Pavarotti and Frank Sinatra.

High Roller: Stratosphere Hotel 
Ride the world’s highest roller coaster – built 100 stories above the ground! 

Adventure Dome: Circus Circus Hotel 
America’s largest indoor theme park! Even if it’s 120 degrees outside, the weather is always just right at the Adventuredome. Featured are a double-loop, double-corkscrew roller coaster, a log flume, laser tag and a brand new ride called The Inverter that will leave you wondering which way is up. There are numerous smaller rides and attractions for fun-lovers of all ages. Pass prices are determined by rider height. Single ride tickets or all-day passes are available. Purchase your tickets at the park entrance.

Shark Reef: Mandalay Bay Hotel 
Guests gaze at more than 100 sharks swimming all around them, including above and below. In with the fishes are scuba-suited experts who wear special headsets that allow them to educate vistors about the sharks and other marine life within the reef.

Manhttan Express: New York - New York Hotel 
With heights of 203 feet, drops of 144 feet and speeds up to 67 MPH, this attraction adds new meaning to the phrase, "let it ride!" It features the world's first "heartline" twist and dive maneuver, allowing riders to experience the thrilling force of negative g's!

Volcano: Mirage Hotel 
The waterfall in front of the Mirage is not all that it seems. Nightly after dark and running every 15 minutes until midnight, the waters stop flowing.

Lion Habitat: MGM Grand Hotel 
To honor the lion and help safeguard its preservation for future generations, MGM Grand Hotel and Casino has created a one-of-a-kind Lion Habitat as a showcase for public education and appreciation for this majestic creature of nature.
