Line Level Shifter

Many DJ mixers have unbalanced -10dBV outputs. Going -10dBV to an amp with a +4dBu input can force you to max your gain or limit your volume. Use a Line Level Shifter to send a hotter signal to the amp(s), and give yourself more volume. You can also convert your signal to balanced so you can get the noise cancelling. DJs with pro(+4dBu) mixers connected to -10dBV gear can have gain problems.

Hooking a -10dBV CD player, minidisc, tape deck,or other -10dBV output gear to a +4 mixer forces you to turn up the gain.  When you max the gain your signal to noise ratio suffers, and you don't have room to turn it up. Use a Line Level Shifter to step up the signal. That way you can turn down the gain and turn up the volume!

Hum Eliminator

AC Hum and noise is a frequent problem for DJs. Whenever multiple pieces of gear are connected, ground loops can form. Ground loops act like antennae and pick up AC Hum.  Simply insert a Hum Eliminator into the signal channels between the offending pieces to prevent ground loops from forming.

Mobile DJs never know when they set up their system if they’re going to get a ground loop. Have a Hum Eliminator with you to help solve your problems on the spot.

  • Eliminates AC hum quick and easy.

  • Breaks groundloops safely while leaving all signal grounds intact.
  • Automatically translates signal voltages to match differences in ground potentials, avoiding clipping.
  • Converts between balanced & unbalanced lines.
  • 1/4" TRS 'smart' jacks (TRS) inputs and outputs.
  • XLR adapters available.
  • Completely passive design with audiophile quality components.
  • Frequency response 20Hz to 70kHz +/-0.5dB.
  • Distortion less than 0.005% THD @1kHz
  • Crosstalk better than -97dB
  • 2Year Warranty
  • EBTECH quality & reliability
  • Made in the U.S.A
