DAS The DS-15 Active Power is configured as a bi-amplified two-way system, incorporating a 150W amplifier for the low frequency transducer and a 50W amplifier for the high frequency driver. Both high performance audio amplifiers have been designed and manufactured using CAD techniques and high precision surface mount technology. D.A.S. has designed the low frequency amplifier circuitry to operate in bridge mode, which quadruples the power, as oppossed to conventionally lowering the impedance of the low frequency transducer, diminishing speaker performance. Mackie The compact, high-output SRS1500 seen at NAMM 2000, contains a 15" high precision long throw woofer and utilizes a road tested, bullet-proof Mackie FR Series 600 watt High Current Amplifier to provide highly detailed and articulate bass response down to 40Hz, at a peak output level of 127 dB.
